to the Asylum at 6 p.m., with her 4 children, stating she had come part by
coach and walking form Bullarook where she had been burnt out, her hut
catching fire, and she was on her way to join her husband, walking to Mount
Cole [ 75km. journey ] and carrying an Infant 8 months old, the oldest of her
children 10 years. - On writing to the
President, R. Wugley Esq., he directed she should be found lodgings, food and
coach fare paid to Beaufort - she said her husband would refund the money. -
Coach fare 15/- and 5/- cash |
